During face-to-face interviews we meet the respondent. These interviews are frequently more qualitative in their design, i.e. they provide more scope for discussion and open questions. They are often referred to as in-depth interviews.
Face-to-face interviews can, in principle, be carried out anywhere – in the street, in a shopping centre (hall tests), at the respondent’s home or at their place of work – in short, anywhere. We have interviewers in most parts of the country. Our interviewers undergo basic training before working in the field and many of them have extensive experience of the industry.
